Hydrating Pom-Chia Refresher

This cool drink is hydrating and refreshing. Sip on it throughout the morning or afternoon as a natural pick-me-up instead of coffee or a sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chilled filtered or spring water

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds, ground

  • 4 tablespoons 100% pomegranate juice (no sugars or sweeteners added)

  • Pinch of sea salt or Himalayan pink sea salt

  • Squeeze of fresh lime (optional)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker or covered bottle and shake vigorously.

  2. Pour into a glass and top with a squeeze of lime (optional). Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use unsweetened plain or natural lime flavored sparkling water instead of still water. Add the sparkling water last, after shaking.
